Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Water & Light for Health website at waterlightforhealth.com (the "Site") and any products or services purchased through the Site or in person at our Sandy, Utah location. By using our Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Water & Light for Health is a wellness center operated by Douglas Clements at 144 E Main Street, Sandy, Utah 84070. We provide non-invasive light therapy sessions (SpectraLight Therapy), structured water products, supplements, and related wellness offerings.

2. Not medical advice

The information on our Site, in our communications, and during our in-clinic sessions is for general wellness and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Statements made about light therapy, structured water, supplements, and other products and services have not been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration.

You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness practice, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication. Light therapy and our other offerings are intended to complement, not replace, the care provided by your physician.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from our Site or to receive in-clinic sessions without a parent or legal guardian present. Minors may receive sessions only with the written consent and on-site supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Account and order accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms.

Pricing, availability, and product descriptions are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate information; in the event of a pricing error we will contact you before charging or shipping.

5. Bookings, sessions, and packages

Session bookings are subject to availability. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled at no charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the session or session credit.

Session packages must be used within 12 months of purchase. Refund eligibility is described in our Return and Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Water & Light for Health or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written permission.

7. User conduct

You agree not to use the Site or our services to engage in any unlawful, harmful, or harassing conduct, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, to submit false or misleading information, or to interfere with other users' use of the Site.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and our products and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law. We do not guarantee any specific health, wellness, or therapeutic outcomes from our services or products.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Water & Light for Health and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, our products, or our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Water & Light for Health, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our Site, products, or services.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Site or services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last revised" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
