Things you might want to know
Your Session Experience
➡️ What is a Water and Light Therapy Session like?
You will comfortably lie down on a relaxing glass bed, enveloped by thousands of points of precisely colored lights that emit healing frequencies to your entire body. The feeling is warm and deeply comforting, similar to gentle sunshine surrounding you from head to toe.
Your only task is to relax. The light frequencies will be deeply penetrating the tissues of your body physically. Since your body is unique, your experience will be too. You may notice effects immediately, or they might appear a few days later.
➡️ What attire should I wear for my light therapy session?
We recommend comfortable light-colored clothing without zippers or buttons, as they can be uncomfortable during the session. Gym clothes are perfectly acceptable. Please remove your shoes and socks, and avoid wearing a lot of jewelry.
You may bring a towel to place between yourself and the glass for extra comfort, especially since the bed can get warm during certain frequency settings.
➡️ Can I have someone accompany me in the room?
Yes, if you feel more comfortable having a companion, that is perfectly fine. We understand that individuals needing assistance or supervision (such as children) may require help. Furthermore, the person you bring will likely receive benefits from simply being in the room while the lights are active.
Therapy Mechanics and Efficacy
➡️ How does SpectraLight differ from standard Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy is only one part of the benefit delivered by SpectraLight. Our system provides Blue Light, Near-Infrared, and Green Light frequency therapy in addition to standard Red Light.
Each frequency has unique strengths: Blue light aids mood and sleep; Green light supports focus; Red light is for skin and inflammation; and Far Infrared is for detoxification. SpectraLight ensures you benefit from the full spectrum.
➡️ Will a short 15-minute session be effective?
Because your body's response is unique, we cannot predict the immediate outcome. Whether you choose 15 minutes or an hour, your response is determined by what your body and mind require for renewal. We have seen amazing results and hope yours will be too.
Safety and Credentials
➡️ Is Light Therapy safe?
Yes, light therapy is generally considered a safe and effective treatment. It has been shown to support mood balance, improve sleep quality, promote skin health, and help reduce pain. Additional benefits may include improved circulation, reduced inflammation, enhanced cellular energy, support for seasonal wellness, stress reduction, and overall relaxation.
Light therapy works by mimicking the effects of intense natural sunlight without the harmful UV exposure. For those who experience claustrophobia, keeping the lid open during sessions is a helpful adaptation that enhances comfort while maintaining effectiveness.
➡️ Are the practitioners certified medical doctors?
No, our staff are not medical doctors. The SpectraLight Therapy Bed system is certified by the FDA and other regulatory agencies but does not require a medical license for operation. It uses non-invasive technology to support physical and mental well-being.
➡️ How many sessions are needed and how frequently?
Light therapy is a wonderful resource for supporting your natural healing journey. Because everyone's response is unique, we recommend the following suggested guidelines for best results:
- General Wellness & Energy: 3–5 sessions per week • 15–30 minutes per session
- Skin Health & Anti-Aging: 3–5 sessions per week • 15–30 minutes
- Muscle Recovery & Performance: 2–4 sessions per week or post-workout • 15–30 minutes
- Chronic Pain & Inflammation Support: Initial phase (2–4 weeks): up to daily use • 15–30 minutes. Maintenance: 2–3 sessions per week.
- Sleep & Relaxation Support: 3–7 sessions per week • 15–30 minutes • Best used at the end of your day
➡️ Can I adjust my session settings or frequency based on my needs?
Absolutely! You are welcome to split or combine your session time to target different wellness goals using various settings or frequencies. We want you to find the balance that works best for you.
However, if you notice symptoms like a headache, unusual fatigue, sleep disruption, or skin sensitivity lasting more than 24 hours, it is a good idea to reduce your session length, intensity (duty), or frequency. Remember, consistency is far more important than intensity when it comes to long-term results.
